Welcome to the Legendary Lodge website. Thank you for taking the time to visit us. Legendary Lodge is a summer youth camp owned and operated by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Helena. The ministry and operation of Legendary Lodge is made possible in part by the generosity of contributors to the Annual Catholic Appeal (ACA), formerly known as the Diocesan Offertory Program (DOP), The Foundation for the Diocese of Helena, and the Sonlight Celebration.
We offer week-long summer camp programs which provide an outdoor Catholic experience for young people. Our camps allow our campers to live, pray, and play in an atmosphere of Catholic community. We accept boys and girls entering the 5th through the 12th grade. While preference is given to Catholic campers of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Helena, applications are welcome from anyone regardless of religious affiliation or location.
Legendary Lodge is located on MT Highway 83 on Salmon Lake, 5 miles north of the Clearwater junction with MT Highway 200. Click here to get directions to the camp.
Our Vision
Legendary Lodge summer camps provide a uniquely enriching faith formation experience by engaging, equipping, and serving the young disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ. They reflect Catholic Formation Services’ commitment to our parishes, missions, and schools in the development of the whole child’s God-given six potentials: spiritual, intellectual, emotional, aesthetic, physical, and social.
